EXODUS, like its collaborators, takes a both an international and domestic perspective. EXODUS will explore human migration and movement, a topical subject nationally in political debate, and globally - most pressingly observed in the exodus from the Middle East and North Africa to Europe. The production also looks to celebrate the unique historical and cultural connections between Denmark and Utah (apart from California, Utah is the State in the US, where there is the largest number of immigrants from Denmark, with many making the perilous journey in the mid 1800s for economic and religious freedoms).

"Few places in this world are more dangerous than home. Fear not, therefore, to try the mountain passes. They will kill care, save you from deadly apathy, set you free, and call forth every faculty into vigorous, enthusiastic action.”
